TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CLEANERS AT BUBLA
Version 1.1 · Last updated 16 September 2026
These general terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply between you as a cleaner (the “Cleaner”, “you”) and Bubla Services AB, company registration number 559473-2736 (“Bubla”, “we”, “us”), when using Bubla Partner (the “App”) and associated web functions (together, the “Platform”) and when performing cleaning assignments managed through the Platform (the “Assignments”). The Terms apply to assignments in Sweden.
1. Scope and responsibilities of the parties
1.1 The Terms govern your use of the Platform, the administration of Assignments and the parties’ responsibilities in relation to Bubla. A booking means an assignment with a specified time and address. The App may also refer to the Cleaner as a Professional.
1.2 Bubla is the customer’s contracting party for the cleaning service and is responsible to the customer under Bubla’s customer terms and applicable consumer law. You perform the booked work under the arrangement in clause 1.3. Performing the work does not in itself mean that you sell the service directly to the customer or assume Bubla’s responsibilities to the customer.
1.3 Assignments are performed through the umbrella employment service provided by Shoutly AB, company registration number 556888-3655 (“Shoutly”), under a separate agreement between you and Shoutly. For assignments covered by that agreement, Shoutly is the employer and handles salary payments, tax deductions and employer contributions. Bubla provides the Platform, administers customer bookings and supplies assignment and compensation records to Shoutly. These Terms govern your relationship with Bubla and do not replace your agreement with Shoutly.
1.4 Your rights under the employment agreement, mandatory law and any applicable collective agreement continue to apply when you use the Platform. The parties’ legal status and responsibilities are assessed under applicable law and the actual organisation of the work. You do not need to run your own business or hold F-tax approval under the arrangement covered by the Terms.
1.5 In the event of a conflict, mandatory law and any applicable collective agreement take precedence over the Terms. The employment agreement governs employment and is not amended by these Terms. Assignment terms must not limit mandatory rights or reduce remuneration already earned. Information about personal data processing is provided in Bubla’s cleaner privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”); it does not constitute blanket consent to processing.
2. Registration and verification
2.1 To register and access Assignments, you must be at least 18 years old, have the right to work in Sweden and complete the designated identity check. You are responsible for providing accurate, up-to-date contact and profile information and completing the required introduction and onboarding with Shoutly. Before an assignment becomes binding, the necessary agreements with Shoutly must be in place and the assignment must fall within the approved cooperation. These requirements apply even if Bubla has approved your profile.
2.2 Bubla reviews your profile before activation and may request relevant additional information. We inform you of any missing information. Registration does not guarantee approval, a particular income or a particular number of assignments. Working-time or pay guarantees under your individual agreement apply in accordance with that agreement.
2.3 Bubla may carry out checks that are relevant to the work and permitted by law. Processing information about criminal offences, health or other sensitive matters requires specific legal support and separate information. Acceptance of the Terms does not provide general authorisation for such checks.
2.4 You are responsible for notifying us of changes affecting your ability to perform an assignment (e.g. changes to contact details, the right to work or the transport method on which allocation relies). Information must be limited to what is necessary for the relevant purpose.
3. Account, App and user responsibilities
3.1 Your account is personal, and you are responsible for protecting your login details. You must not allow another person to use the account or perform a booking under your identity. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact support in the App promptly. Responsibility for unauthorised activity is assessed according to the circumstances and applicable law; use of your account alone does not automatically establish liability.
3.2 You may use the App and Bubla’s materials for the agreed cooperation. You must not manipulate time records, location, ratings, identity or payment records, attempt unauthorised access or disrupt the systems. Rights arising under mandatory law are not restricted.
3.3 Bubla is responsible for the Platform and the administration of bookings. In the event of a service interruption, contact support and provide the necessary information through the designated procedure. A technical fault does not in itself affect your right to remuneration properly earned.
4. Availability, bookings and scope of assignments
4.1 You enter your availability and work areas in Bubla Partner. Any specific scheduling rules in an individual employment or assignment agreement also apply.
4.2 The assignment’s content, time, planned scope, area or address, compensation basis and relevant safety requirements must be set out in a written confirmation (the “Assignment Confirmation”) before the assignment becomes binding. An assignment becomes binding through your acceptance or a booking within an automatic allocation arrangement expressly agreed in advance. Registration or stated availability does not in itself constitute acceptance of all future assignments.
4.3 Confirmed assignments are shown in the App and/or a written confirmation. Changes to availability do not automatically remove assignments already confirmed. For recurring cleaning, the confirmation must specify the visits or series covered by your commitment and how future allocations can be ended.
4.4 You may work for other clients and are not subject to a general exclusivity requirement under the Terms. You are responsible for avoiding conflicting bookings. Customer information obtained through Bubla must not be used for your own marketing.
4.5 Bubla may change an assignment by agreement with you or when required by law, safety or an obstacle on the customer’s side. A material increase in work or reduction in agreed remuneration requires a new agreement before the changed work is performed.
5. Cleaner responsibilities before and during an assignment
5.1 Arrive at the agreed time, treat the customer respectfully and perform the work carefully and professionally within the booking’s scope, relevant instructions and safety procedures. Discrimination, harassment, threats, violence, theft and working under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not accepted.
5.2 You are responsible for reviewing the assignment information before starting and reporting errors in the address, scope or access arrangements, and risks that prevent safe performance. Start and end times, completed tasks and deviations must be recorded accurately. A task may be marked as complete only if it has been performed.
5.3 Work must remain within the scope of the booking. You are not required to perform tasks outside that scope or tasks requiring training, authorisation or protection that is unavailable (e.g. handling hazardous chemicals, infectious waste or pests, unsafe work at height or hazardous lifting). In such circumstances, request support from Bubla. If the booked time is insufficient, prioritisation or an extension must be arranged through Bubla. The customer may not unilaterally require unpaid additional work.
5.4 Before the assignment, it must be clear who provides cleaning materials, work clothes and protective equipment and who pays for approved travel and expenses. Use equipment safely and do not mix chemicals contrary to instructions. These terms do not transfer an employer’s statutory responsibilities to you.
5.5 Do not bring another person into the customer’s home or let someone replace you unless Bubla has first arranged an approved, identified cleaner and informed the customer. In case of illness or another obstacle, contact support rather than sharing your account.
6. Remuneration, payroll records and payments
6.1 Agreed remuneration must be stated in a written confirmation before your first assignment and before any material change. The confirmation must specify the amount or calculation basis, paid time, holiday pay, any pensions and other benefits, approved expenses, cancellation compensation and payment timing. You must be able to save the confirmation. Remuneration must not be determined solely by an internal calculation model that has not been made available to you.
6.2 Gross remuneration or gross salary means your remuneration before tax deductions. The customer’s price, your net payment and the amount Bubla transfers to Shoutly for salary and associated costs must be distinguished from your gross salary. Employer contributions and other employer costs must not be presented as part of your salary.
6.3 Your gross salary and other remuneration terms must be set out in the agreement applicable to the Assignment. The customer’s price after the RUT deduction is not the same as your gross salary. Shoutly handles payroll payments under your agreement with Shoutly. Bubla is responsible for accurate assignment and compensation records and its commitments under the Terms. Deductions from agreed gross salary may be made only with contractual and legal support.
6.4 Bubla provides Shoutly with the necessary, accurate assignment records and follows up transmission errors. You are responsible for supplying information required from you through the designated channel. Errors in assignments, recorded time or Bubla’s records should be reported to support in the App. Questions about payslips, tax and payroll payments are handled by Shoutly at contact@shoutly.com or through its designated contact channel. Bubla must assist with missing records and payments and remains responsible for its own commitments, including clause 6.5.
6.5 Bubla bears the customer’s payment risk for work that Bubla has authorised for performance. Agreed remuneration for a properly completed assignment, work already in progress when a payment failure occurs or a specifically authorised imminent visit is therefore not affected solely by an unresolved customer payment, RUT deduction, card dispute or refund. Remuneration must not be withheld, reduced or reclaimed solely on any of these grounds.
6.6 If a future booking is stopped before work begins, the cancellation rules, your individual agreement and any mandatory wage rights apply. Such a booking does not automatically entitle you to full remuneration as for completed work.
6.7 If you consider a compensation record incorrect, contact support promptly and describe the error. Bubla investigates the matter and provides an account. The request to report errors promptly does not limit statutory deadlines. A rating or customer complaint does not in itself justify a wage deduction. Deductions, set-off or recovery require a separate assessment and applicable legal support. Undisputed amounts must be paid at the agreed time.
7. Cancellation, delays and lack of access
7.1 If you become ill, are delayed or otherwise cannot perform a confirmed assignment, notify Bubla as soon as possible. If ill, also report sickness to Shoutly under the designated procedure. Bubla handles customer contact and any replacement. Sick pay and employment absence are handled with Shoutly. Give Bubla necessary information about the obstacle without a diagnosis or other unnecessary health details.
7.2 If the customer or Bubla cancels, you must be informed of the assignment’s status and any compensation. For a qualifying late cancellation, your cancellation compensation is handled separately from remuneration for cleaning performed. The customer’s cancellation charge is not automatically the same amount as your compensation. Applicable amounts and time limits must be established in the remuneration confirmation before the assignment.
7.3 If the customer does not provide access, try to reach the customer through the specified channel and contact support. Record arrival and contact attempts objectively. Do not force locks, enter without authorisation or wait somewhere you feel threatened. Support handles closure and compensation under the agreed rules.
7.4 Bubla does not impose an automatic fine for sickness, delay or cancellation under the Terms. Repeated or deliberate failures to attend may lead to an investigation under section 12. The assessment must take account of the cause, any technical faults, your explanation and applicable employment law.
8. Working environment, safety and interrupted assignments
8.1 You may decline to start or may stop an assignment if there is a concrete health or safety risk, such as threats, harassment, unprotected hazardous substances or a dangerous working environment. Leave in immediate danger and call 112 when necessary. Inform Bubla as soon as it is safe to do so.
8.2 In the event of a safety incident, you must provide a factual account of what happened. Bubla must assess the matter promptly and assist with necessary protective measures. A safety report made in good faith must not in itself result in a penalty or adverse account decision.
8.3 When an assignment ends as a justified safety stop, you retain the full planned remuneration for the assignment under Bubla’s safety procedure. Bubla handles the customer’s refund and RUT separately. Only work actually performed and eligible for RUT may form the basis of RUT records.
8.4 Shoutly’s responsibilities as employer and Bubla’s responsibilities for the working environment and safety follow from each party’s role and applicable law. Before the Assignment, you must receive the necessary instructions and information about protective equipment and contact channels. Injuries and incidents must be reported to Bubla and Shoutly under the designated procedure. Customer duties do not limit Bubla’s or Shoutly’s responsibilities.
9. Customer information, keys and documentation
9.1 Information about the customer, home, access codes, keys and private circumstances may only be used for the assignment and authorised case handling. You must not create private customer registers, disclose information to unauthorised people or contact the customer with your own offers.
9.2 Communication should primarily take place in the App or through designated channels. Codes and access instructions must not be copied to private notes or shared calendars. If you suspect a personal data incident (e.g. lost keys, a misdirected message or a lost phone), inform Bubla without undue delay.
9.3 Photographs may only be taken when needed for specific documentation of an assignment, quality or damage. Limit the image to the relevant area. Avoid people, children, documents, screens, medicines and other private details. Upload through the designated function and remove unnecessary local copies. Customer photographs must not be used on social media or in marketing without separate valid permission. These terms provide no general right to record audio or video.
9.4 Return keys and other property according to the agreed procedure. Do not retain access information after it is no longer needed. Confidentiality continues after the cooperation ends.
9.5 Confidentiality does not prevent you from seeking trade-union or legal assistance, reporting to an authority, making a protected whistleblowing disclosure or exercising your rights. Limit disclosure to what the situation requires.
10. Quality, complaints, damage and insurance
10.1 Bubla handles customer complaints and gives you an opportunity to describe the incident and provide relevant records. Any remedial work is arranged through Bubla. Its scope, timing and remuneration must be specified under your agreement and applicable law. The customer quality guarantee does not in itself require you to work without pay.
10.2 Report damage or an incident as soon as possible and limit further damage where safe. Do not promise the customer personal compensation or enter settlements on Bubla’s behalf without authority.
10.3 Information about applicable accident and liability insurance must be provided before your first assignment. Shoutly’s insurance cover and Bubla’s business liability insurance must be described separately. The information must identify the insured party, insurer, scope, key exclusions, deductible and claims procedure. Damage in the customer’s home must be reported to Bubla for investigation and handling under the applicable insurance terms. Insurance through Shoutly does not in itself cover Bubla’s liability or every loss in the home. The scope of insurance does not limit the parties’ liability under clause 10.4. A deductible must not automatically be charged to you.
10.4 Each party is liable for losses under its agreement and applicable law. Bubla is responsible for its own acts and obligations. Your liability is subject to the applicable rules on employee liability for damages. The Terms do not impose an unlimited personal obligation to indemnify Bubla for losses or claims.
11. Profile, ratings and location sharing
11.1 Bubla may show your relevant professional profile to customers to enable selection, booking and identification of the cleaner. You grant Bubla a limited right to use your profile photograph and introduction for that purpose during the cooperation. Use of your image in a separate advertising campaign requires a separate agreement.
11.2 Availability, work area and other eligibility requirements affect which assignments you can be shown for. Ratings and rating count are used in a weighted ranking that may affect visibility and allocation. The privacy policy explains the calculation and certain automated selections. Contact support if information is incorrect or a result needs explaining.
11.3 Bubla Partner shows aggregate ratings, not the author of a particular rating or individual customer comments. Bubla must review suspected false, discriminatory or irrelevant reviews and allow you to respond to a complaint that affects your account.
11.4 The App’s location feature is used for the active journey to an assignment and arrival. Background sharing requires the relevant device permission. The feature’s scope and limitations are described in the App and the Privacy Policy. Acceptance of the Terms does not constitute blanket consent to location monitoring. Where GPS errors occur, other relevant records must be available for the investigation.
12. Account restrictions and review of decisions
12.1 Bubla may restrict access to the account where there are objective grounds (e.g. unauthorised use, a serious safety risk, missing verification information, established manipulation, or material or repeated breaches of contract). The measure must be proportionate to the circumstances. Where appropriate, you must be informed and given an opportunity to remedy the issue before the account is restricted.
12.2 A specific serious risk may require an immediate temporary restriction while the matter is investigated. You must receive written reasons, the scope and information on requesting review, unless law or protection of an ongoing investigation prevents disclosure of particular information. Temporary measures must be followed up without undue delay.
12.3 You may request free human review through support@bubla.se, even without app access. Identify the decision and explain your position. Bubla must have a person with authority to change the decision assess relevant information and respond with reasons. We aim to respond within 14 days and tell you if more time is needed. Shorter statutory deadlines take priority over this target.
12.4 An identity ban that has been decided may also be enforced against new accounts and, in the event of a justified serious risk, against both cleaner and customer profiles. The decision must state its scope. You retain the ability to request reconsideration, deletion and data access.
12.5 An account restriction may affect access to new assignments and the handling of assignments already booked. The notice must identify the affected assignments. The restriction does not in itself terminate an employment agreement with Shoutly and does not affect your right to earned remuneration. Employment matters are handled with Shoutly under that agreement and applicable law. Objections, trade union activity or a justified safety report must not in themselves be grounds for retaliation.
13. Ending the cooperation
13.1 You may notify support that you wish to stop using Bubla Partner. Confirmed assignments, return of property and final accounting are handled under the applicable agreements. Ending the platform agreement does not in itself terminate an employment agreement with Shoutly. Employment matters are handled with Shoutly under that agreement and applicable law. Account deletion is handled under the Privacy Policy and does not waive payment claims.
13.2 Bubla may terminate the separate platform agreement with 30 days’ written notice and objective reasons. Immediate restriction or termination is permitted for serious breaches or where a legal requirement or concrete safety risk makes it necessary, to the extent permitted by law. Longer or special periods under an individual agreement or law take priority.
13.3 When cooperation ends, you must be able to access your own remuneration records and contractual information through the App or support, while protecting customer information and other people’s rights. Bubla must provide a final account of outstanding remuneration. Confidentiality, outstanding claims and other provisions which by their nature need to continue remain applicable to the necessary extent.
14. Changes to the Terms
14.1 Bubla may update the Terms when the service, legislation or the conditions of the cooperation change. For material changes, we notify you of the change and its reasons in a format you can save, normally at least 30 days before it takes effect. More time must be provided if the change requires reasonable technical or practical adjustments. A shorter period may apply only where required by law or a specific, unforeseen safety risk.
14.2 Changes must not reduce remuneration already earned or retrospectively worsen confirmed assignments. Changes requiring a new agreement are introduced only following valid acceptance. If you do not accept a proposed change, you may end the Platform agreement before it takes effect without losing accrued rights. An employment agreement is not amended unilaterally through new app terms.
15. Applicable law, disputes and contact
15.1 The Terms are interpreted under Swedish law. In the event of a dispute, the parties should first seek a resolution by contacting Bubla support. You may immediately seek trade union or legal assistance and use statutory remedies.
15.2 Unresolved disputes are heard by the competent Swedish court under applicable jurisdiction rules. Employment disputes follow the rules for those disputes.
15.3 Support and decision review: support@bubla.se. Personal data: privacy@bubla.se. Postal address: Bubla Services AB, Stora Badhusgatan 18, 411 18 Göteborg, Sweden.
